Role: HCS Operation Support Engineer

Location: Doha, Qatar

Duration: yearly renewable

Industry: Telecom

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24x7 operational support and handle NOC incidents.
  • Maintain and support Cisco HCS platform and IP Telephony systems.
  • Manage call routing, PSTN, dial plans, and design changes.
  • Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Handle vendor escalations (TAC) and critical issue resolution.
  • Support new service implementation, testing, and upgrades.
  • Manage hardware/software, users, patches, and backups.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Cisco UC technologies (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, SBC, Voice Gateways)
  • Experience with Routing & Switching, VMware, Nexus, UCS
  • Familiarity with CVP, SQL Server, Contact Centre solutions
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • 3–5 years’ experience in IP Telephony / Unified Communications
  • Understanding of call flows, ICM scripting, and telecom networks
