Desktop Support Engineer (Onsite – Mägenwil

Hi Everyone,

We are currently hiring for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Mägenwil

🔹 Location: 5506, Mägenwil, Aargau, Switzerland

🔹 Work Mode: Onsite (5 days a week)

🔹 Contract Type: Self-employed (B2B)

🔹 Language Requirement: German (B2–C1) + Good English

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2 desktop support (remote & onsite)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues
  • Manage and update tickets in the helpdesk system
  • Perform break-fix support and fault resolution
  • Install, configure, and support Windows OS & MS Office
  • Support printers, laptops, desktops, and peripherals
  • Basic support for Mac OS (Apple devices)
  • Diagnose network connectivity issues using standard tools
  • Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors for complex issues (e.g., AV systems)

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 7–10 & Office 365
  • Experience with Active Directory & Group Policies (GPOs)
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools and ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting & installations
  • Basic understanding of networking, servers, and telecom
  • Experience with mobile device management (iOS/Android)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+ / MCP are a plus
