About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on L2/L3 Network Engineer to provide onsite technical support across critical remote locations. In this role, you’ll act as the local technical expert, working closely with a 24/7 offshore support team to ensure seamless network operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being physically present, solving real-world infrastructure challenges, and supporting live environments.
Key Responsibilities
Incident & Problem Management (Mandatory)
- Troubleshoot onsite issues related to LAN, WLAN, WAN, and IT infrastructure
- Step in when remote support isn’t sufficient
- Collaborate with offshore teams to meet SLA targets
Local Request Handling (Mandatory)
- Manage and fulfill all local service requests
- Act as the primary onsite contact for network-related issues
Installations & Changes (Mandatory)
- Perform device installations, upgrades, and decommissioning
- Handle cabling, hardware replacement, and configuration support
- Assist with local IT/network projects (e.g., segmentation)
Hands & Feet Support (Optional)
- Coordinate with local technicians and electricians
- Guide third-party vendors when needed
Communication (Mandatory)
- Fluent in Dutch or French + English (written & spoken)
Technical Skills
Required Expertise
- Cisco: Access Points, Switches, Routers
- Palo Alto: Firewalls
- F5: Load Balancers

Operational Expectations
- Weekend Work: Planned weekly activities (onsite or remote)

- Contract Duration: Long-term engagement (4+ years)
