About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at IPPEN.MEDIA. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the frontend of our next-generation AI-powered platform. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within Germany, with occasional travel for team meetings or project collaborations. As a key contributor, you will develop interactive UI components, integrate AI coding tools, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, user-friendly interfaces. The role emphasizes a modern tech stack, including React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, with a focus on utilizing AI to enhance productivity and innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience in React and TypeScript development, with a strong understanding of component-based architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, including App Router, Server Actions, SSR, and SSG functionalities.
• Active utilization of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex in daily development workflows.
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and familiarity with component libraries like shadcn/ui and Radix UI.
• Solid understanding of state management solutions like Zustand or Jotai.
• Experience with Git version control, code reviews, and collaborative development processes.
• Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1) and good command of English.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Node.js and server-side development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, including Firestore and Cloud Workflows.
• Familiarity with WebSockets or Socket.IO for real-time features.
• Experience with Vercel AI SDK or LLM integrations like OpenAI or Google GenAI.
• Understanding of OpenAPI code generation and API design principles.
• Experience with Storybook, Vitest, and component-driven development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this role include designing and developing the frontend of our AI platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will build and optimize interactive UI components, implement real-time features, and integrate AI coding tools to improve developer productivity. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend developers, you will participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. Additionally, you may take on full-stack tasks involving Node.js, APIs, and cloud services, depending on your interests and expertise. Your work will directly contribute to advancing our AI platform, making complex workflows accessible and efficient for users worldwide.
