Senior Blazor Developer

Valrose is partnering with a key client to engage a Senior Blazor Developer for a contract focused on building and enhancing modern web applications using C#, .NET, Razor, and Blazor.

• Blazor experience is essential
• 3-6 month rolling contract
• Option to work from home 4-days a week

This role will suit an experienced contractor who can quickly understand an existing application environment, contribute to delivery from the outset, and help design and build clean, scalable, user-focused solutions.

What success looks like in this contract

Within the engagement, you will have:

• Delivered high-quality Blazor components and pages ready for production use
• Contributed to the improvement and extension of existing web application functionality
• Integrated front-end components effectively with APIs and backend services
• Helped bring greater structure, maintainability, and consistency to the application codebase
• Supported the team with practical technical input across UI design, state management, and testing

Your work will provide the business with:

• Modern, reliable, and maintainable application functionality
• Improved user experience across core web interfaces
• Stronger confidence in the quality and scalability of the solution
• Meaningful delivery progress within the contract timeframe

What you will bring to the role

Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET

• Proven experience building applications with Blazor WebAssembly and/or Blazor Server
• Solid capability in designing UI components and pages using Razor
• Sound knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web application fundamentals
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and working with Entity Framework
• A practical understanding of state management in Blazor applications
• Experience with testing approaches, including unit testing and UI testing
• The confidence to work autonomously, solve problems quickly, and add value from day one
