Senior Dotnet Developer

.NET Developer (6-Month Contract)

Overview

We’re working with a fast-growing AI startup building next-generation products at the intersection of data, automation, and intelligent systems. They are looking for a strong .NET Developer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract, helping to scale and enhance their core platform.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both backend services and modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET
• Build and enhance APIs and microservices supporting AI-driven products
• Work with PostgreSQL to design and optimise data models and queries
• Contribute to frontend components using TypeScript where required
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS environments
• Work with Docker to containerise applications and support deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system performance and reliability

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Experience building APIs and working within microservices architectures
• Solid experience with AWS (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, or serverless)
• Experience using Docker in development and deployment workflows
• Strong database experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Comfortable working in Agile environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI / machine learning products or data-driven platforms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in startup or scale-up environments
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures
