What you'll do

• Own Bitget EU technology strategy, roadmap, and system availability
• Ensure all technology systems and infrastructure are compliant with applicable EU regulations and operated independently
• Manage EU development and release cycle
• Act as quality gate for all technology deployments to the EU environment
• Manage IT and tech outsourcing relationships
• Ensure operational independence and business continuity of EU technology
• Build and manage the EU technology team
• Report to Management Board on technology performance and risks

What you'll need

• 8+ years technology leadership in regulated financial services, fintech, or crypto
• Understanding of MiCAR, DORA
• Experience with digital asset custody/wallet infrastructure
• Experience managing outsourcing within a global group structure
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data residency requirements
• Experience with regulatory audits and inspections
• Fluent English; Chinese or German is a plus
