Job Description

Client's digital programme is aimed at improving the customer experience, both in terms of digital travel information, e-ticketing and e-care. To strengthen our digital team, we are looking for a Product owner with extensive experience in e-projects.

In summary, we are looking for a profile that recognizes itself in the following characteristics:

• Pragmatic cooperating foreman/woman: Someone with an 80/20 mentality who does not get bogged down in perfectionism, but makes decisions with common sense and helps things move forward.
• Strategic prioritization: A profile that dares to scope and descopen, actively manages the backlog and supports the business in making the right choices. At the same time, this person can pragmatically indicate which matters are less of a priority within an MVP.
• Product Owner: Someone who challenges both designers and user stories in terms of content and ensures that the MVP scope is monitored within the team.
• Hands-on Product Owner: and operationally minded: Someone who does not shy away from rolling up their sleeves themselves: helping to develop training courses, draw up work instructions, perform functional tests and closely monitor bugs. This involves critically assessing whether something is really a must-have or rather nice-to-have. This also includes the administrative follow-up and maintenance of dependencies with other teams.
• Guardian of quality and overview: Someone who maintains the helicopter view and ensures that testers and developers do not lose themselves in unnecessary details.
• Key figure within the team: A proactive personality who picks things up quickly, looks for solutions and connects people to achieve progress.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Functional/Business Analyst
• Demonstrable experience in general business operations with application in ICT
• Proven experience with business process development and optimization (BPM)
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2
• Proven experience in monitoring a product strategy
• Proven experience with digital ticketing projects
• Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Project Management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
• Demonstrable knowledge of client's business processes
• Demonstrable knowledge of business processes of the Flemish government
