Posizione
The Agile Coach supports development teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders in improving Agile execution, delivery practices, and team collaboration.
The role focuses on enabling cross‑functional teams through practical coaching, introducing meaningful metrics, improving work decomposition, and promoting modern engineering and DevOps practices.
The Agile Coach operates within an international, distributed environment (Italy, Switzerland, India, USA) and contributes to Agile transformation efforts, delivery predictability, and the evolution of software development practices, including AI/LLM initiatives where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach teams and individuals (Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Tech Leads) on Agile practices, team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Guide the decomposition of work (Epics, Features, User Stories) and support teams working on AI/LLM initiatives in breaking down incremental, testable deliverables.
- Promote engineering practices such as TDD, BDD, continuous integration, test automation, and trunk‑based development.
- Collaborate with technical teams to adopt and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Introduce and leverage actionable metrics (lead time, cycle time, throughput, flow efficiency, sprint goal success) to support data‑driven decision making.
- Improve estimation practices through relative sizing techniques and facilitate effective backlog refinement.
- Support planning, prioritization, dependency management, and outcome‑focused delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, assessments, serious games, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to the internal Agile Community by sharing knowledge, tools, and best practices.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives at both team and organizational levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Approximately 5–8 years of experience as an Agile Coach and/or Senior Scrum Master in complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP practices.
- Practical experience with flow metrics, continuous improvement, and data‑informed coaching.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and automation practices.
- Strong experience working in enterprise or distributed team environments.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, training, and coaching interactions at multiple organizational levels.
- Understanding of software development dynamics, including familiarity with TDD, automation, and delivery pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset within international teams.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Experience or exposure to AI/LLM product development is considered a plus.
