React JS Developer

Pay: €30,000.00 - €50,000.00 per year

Job description:

We are looking for a React developer to join our small but growing web and mobile app development studio. Key frontend technologies include React, React Native, and TypeScript.

Our clients range from new startups to established businesses, and you will get to play a key part in contributing to exciting consumer-facing apps with 100,000s of active users. See some of the apps we've developed at www.m10c.com

Our Central London office is located in the Bankside area, just south of the river between Waterloo and London Bridge. We provide flexibility for working from home part of the week.

Experience Needed

• React development (minimum 2 years), and a strong understanding of its modern practices (e.g. Hooks).
• Ideally, experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of the fundamentals of JavaScript and modern language features.
• Strong knowledge of CSS and flexbox layouts.
• Git version control.

Other Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• A passion for building things, and learning / expanding skills.
• Great care for quality of work produced and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to help turn designs and specs into functional web and mobile apps.
• Following the development team's internal processes, best practices, coding standards, etc.
• Performing routine maintenance, updates and refactoring to existing projects.
• Participating in the team's project planning processes, and clearly reporting back progress in our project management software.
• Investigating and resolving bugs or issues reported by users or clients.
• Submitting work as Pull Requests, and responding to code review comments by the team.
• Providing feedback to help improve our processes and best practices used across our projects.
