Kotlin Developer

Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days remote per week).

As a Senior Kotlin Developer - Microservices & Cloud Platforms, you will be working for our client, an industry leader dedicated to building a platform that empowers control owners and development teams to manage software compliance effectively. You will contribute to the development of Kotlin and Java-based web applications and APIs in a microservice architecture, driving impactful technological solutions and supporting continuous innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to build and operate sophisticated products.
• Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end features based on project priorities.
• Work on APIs and microservices that address significant business challenges.
• Participate in agile CI/CD workflows to ensure rapid and reliable delivery cycles.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues, respond to feature requests, and deliver high-quality code.
• Contribute to peer reviews, automated testing, and collaborative development efforts.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Kotlin (or Java with willingness to learn Kotlin).
• Experience in API development, SQL/databases, and HTML/Javascript.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Fluent English language skills (B2+).

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Background in Systems Administration across Linux, AIX, or WAS platforms.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English (B2+ level).
