DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Databricks

Location: Krakow, PL – 3 days onsite in a week.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong exposure to data platforms, particularly Azure Databricks, to support deployment automation and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
• Automate deployment of Databricks notebooks and jobs
• Manage infrastructure on Azure (IaC using Terraform/ARM templates preferred)
• Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with data engineers for seamless integration and deployment
• Ensure security and compliance standards are followed

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python, SQL, PySpark, Azure Databricks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus)

Good to Have

• Exposure to Power BI
• Knowledge of Trino (Starburst)
