Junior .NET Software Engineer

We are working with an American Software company that offers an industry-leading portfolio of finance, operations, and accounting solutions that empower customers to streamline operations that drive growth and profitability across the Oil & Energy value chain.

In cooperation with our client, we are developing a comprehensive system to enhance data orchestration and communication across products, focusing on Exploration Planning, Appraisal & Field Development Planning, Production Planning, and Decommissioning Planning. This initiative streamlines processes and optimizes resource management in the energy sector.

Our team consists of 3 people, located in Ukraine: a senior front-end engineer, a QC engineer, and an AI engineer.

IF YOU ARE

• Proficient in developing software applications with 1+ years of experience
• Experienced in .NET, RESTful APIs, and object-oriented programming concepts
• Skilled in relational databases
• Competent in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Aware of basic cloud concepts and platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Familiar with APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledgeable in security protocols and encryption standards
• Acquainted with AI coding tools
• Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills
• Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client-side
• Interested in AI/ML technologies or intelligent systems (would be a plus)
• Aware of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar extensibility patterns (nice-to-have knowledge)
• Familiar with front-end technologies like React (is not a must)

• Develop and maintain Upstream Planning solutions in an Agile environment under guidance from senior team members
• Follow established architectural standards, best practices, and reusable components across the application portfolio
• Learn and apply modern technologies and frameworks
• Support implementation of technical solutions while adhering to coding standards and quality guidelines
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to support the development process
• Collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks
