Program Manager

Responsibilities

Ensure engineering design team deployment and mobilization as per project strategy and project requirements.

• Ensure input data from Client, vendors and internal other engineering discipline team are on track as per engineering design delivery schedule.

• Monitor and keep abreast of all engineering design activities and ensure that all issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.

• Monitor progress periodically against schedule, quality standards and budget (design effort), as well as against contractual requirements, client requirements and company standards. Highlight critical points and propose corrective action plans.

• Ensure adherence of every function and process to process and quality management (PQM) right through the project lifecycle and ensure flawless delivery of engineering design. Monitor and keep a check on design defects incidences

• Prepare risk assessment and mitigation plans.

• Organize weekly project review meetings with project management team, client team and engineering leadership team to understand the design progress, actual project progress in terms of schedule performance index (SPI), cost performance index (CPI) etc. and provide appropriate action plans.

• Present project status updates to the management team during management review meetings.

• Proactive and critical thinking skills to navigate through tricky or ambiguous projects, by remaining objective, analyzing the facts, and evaluating options without bias, and able to solve complex problems for organizations while delivering results on time and within budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor of engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
