Our client, a huge Tech company located in the Docklands of Dublin is seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and analytical Data Scientist to join their team and drive impactful data initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced Data Scientist who thrives in ambiguous environments, can independently manage and deliver complex cross-functional projects, and is passionate about leveraging data to inform business strategy and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of data science strategies that influence key business decisions and operational improvements at scale.
  • Design, build, and deploy advanced analytical models and prototypes to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets using SQL, Tableau, Hive, Presto, and other Big Data tools.
  • Mentor data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Architect and maintain robust reporting systems, dashboards, and metrics that enable the BMG Support organization to scale and operate efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement, driving the adoption of best practices in data science and analytics.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering actionable business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (creating, optimizing, and maintaining complex queries), and experience with Big Data tools (Tableau, Hive, Presto, R/Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
  • Deep understanding of reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, and best practices in data visualization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and inform stakeholders at all levels.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Customer Operations, Scaled Services, or similar domains.
  • Proven experience extracting, processing, and analysing data from large and complex databases.
  • History of driving measurable business impact through data science initiatives.
  • Expertise in leveraging AI tools within the field of work
