EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a leading engineering organization operating within highly complex, multinational industrial programs in its search for a Supply Chain Project Manager.
Our client is experiencing significant growth across its aircraft and advanced engineering divisions, driven by innovation, expanding project portfolios, and increasing customer demand.
As the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving transversal Supply Chain activities across engineering, design, production, logistics, procurement, and quality within major aircraft programs.
You will take ownership of cross-functional project leadership, supplier coordination, long-lead item management, and high-level stakeholder communication, acting as a key driver of operational alignment and program delivery.
This role is based in Basel, Switzerland, offering a hybrid working model.
The main responsibilities of the Supply Chain Project Manager include:
- Leading complex, cross-functional Supply Chain and industrial projects across engineering, production, logistics, procurement, and quality
- Identifying and solving Supply Chain bottlenecks linked to schedule delays, design changes, or supplier performance issues
- Managing long-lead items, supplier readiness, capacity assessments, and ensuring on-time availability for program milestones
- Acting as a key interface between engineering and manufacturing to support industrialization and resolve technical constraints
- Coordinating international suppliers, internal teams to ensure alignment, risk mitigation, and delivery performance
Technical skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Program Management, or Production environments
- Track record leading complex, large industrial projects (aviation/aerospace strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of production workflows, long lead times, engineering-manufacturing interfaces, and industrialization
- Systems proficiency with ERP (SAP preferred), PLM tools, and MS Project or similar
