Our client is an international engineering and energy infrastructure business operating across global industrial markets, with a strong focus on thermal and industrial energy projects. The company delivers complex technical projects within highly regulated and project-driven environments and has built a strong reputation across engineering, operations, and project execution functions.


Operating across international markets, the business supports large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects through multidisciplinary collaboration across engineering, supply chain, project delivery, and operational teams.


About the Role

You will join the project management team as a Project Manager, taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of technically complex industrial energy projects within an international environment. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration across engineering, procurement, supply chain, and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and in line with contractual and customer requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, procurement, and project execution functions
  • Take ownership of project progress, budgets, timelines, quality, and overall delivery performance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate discussions relating to design, technical scope, supply chain, and project execution activities
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address project risks or challenges
  • Support engineering and supply chain activities where required within smaller or fast-moving projects
  • Ensure contractual requirements and customer expectations are effectively implemented and managed
  • Prepare internal and external project reporting updates
  • Manage stakeholder communication across internal departments and customer teams
  • Contribute to maintaining efficient project execution processes and operational delivery standards


Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Previous experience leading project teams within industrial, engineering, or technical project environments
  • Experience within industrial installations, EPC environments, power generation, or energy infrastructure projects is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple project priorities
  • Commercial awareness combined with strong operational and technical understanding
  • Comfortable working within international and multicultural project environments
  • Willingness to travel internationally several times per year
