What you’ll do:

• Build and ship full-stack features in Python and TypeScript that meaningfully shape how teachers and students use the product at scale.
• Design and evolve robust systems using proven patterns, APIs, ORMs, caching and testing, with a strong emphasis on correctness, performance and durability.
• Continuously simplify and strengthen the codebase, removing unnecessary complexity and raising the engineering bar over time.
• Own problem spaces end-to-end, from defining the technical approach to delivering high-quality software at speed.
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience building impactful software in a fast-moving product environment.
• Full-stack capability with TypeScript and at least one server-side language such as Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
• A strong track record of owning projects end-to-end, from idea to delivery.
• Deep care for writing clear, maintainable, and well-structured code that scales with the product.
• A curiosity for AI and a drive to experiment with new tools to enhance creativity, decisions, and execution.
