.NET Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join the team of one of our clients.

This role could be a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys building backend systems for complex digital products, working across web and native mobile environments, and contributing to solutions that need to be stable, well-structured, and scalable.

You will be joining a team that values solid engineering foundations, practical problem-solving, and a genuine interest in modern development approaches, including AI-assisted workflows.

What we’re looking for

You are likely to be a strong match if you bring:

• Hands-on experience building backend systems for complex web and native mobile applications
• At least 3 years of experience working with C# and .NET technologies, including .NET Core 8 or newer
• Experience designing and building REST APIs, as well as integrating with third-party APIs
• At least 3 years of experience working with relational databases, especially MS SQL Server
• Good understanding of SQL database design, query writing, and stored procedures
• Experience with Entity Framework Core 8 or higher
• Confidence working with existing codebases, including reading, understanding, supporting, and extending code written by others
• Experience delivering solutions across different platforms, including web and mobile
• Proven use of GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted tools as part of the development process

What will also be valuable

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, and other Agile development tools
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience using AI tools in your workflow
