Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 1 year (extension/conversion possible)

Role Overview: JoinMobile Development team to build and enhance mobile banking and loyalty program features. Lead Android development initiatives, design scalable solutions, and mentor team members in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Android solution design and delivery for mobile banking applications
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and developers
• Conduct code reviews and enforce SDLC best practices
• Provide estimates, technical guidance, and mentorship
• Ensure timely, high-quality, and secure delivery
• Support production issues and continuous improvements

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years mobile development; 5+ years Kotlin (Android)
• Jetpack Compose experience
• Android tools: Android Studio, Gradle, Emulator
• Architecture patterns: MVC, MVP, MVVM
• Testing: JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric

Nice to Have

• Tools: Dynatrace, SonarQube, Crashlytics
