Service Designer

We're looking for a Service Designer to join one of our clients' teams.

About the Role

You will be part of a multidisciplinary digital team working on a variety of applications for both customers and business partners. Using a Design Thinking approach, you will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver human-centered service experiences across different platforms.
• Analyze and map end-to-end customer journeys and service blueprints to identify pain points and strategic opportunities.
• Lead the discovery phase by conducting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, audits, benchmarks, and data analysis).
• Facilitate ideation workshops and design sprints with multidisciplinary stakeholders to define value propositions.
• Translate research into validated concepts: journey maps, service workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Ensure harmony between human needs, business viability (KPIs), and technical feasibility.
• Promote Design Thinking methodologies and the Double Diamond approach to foster a design culture across the company.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in Service Design, UX Research or Strategic UX roles.
• Deep expertise in human-centered design, journey mapping, and service blueprinting.
• Ability to turn ambiguous, complex problems into clear, actionable, and sustainable design solutions.
• Skilled at facilitating high-level discussions and aligning diverse business squads.
• Professional mastery of Miro, FigJam, or Mural and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or InVision.
• Experience working in Agile, iterative environments with a focus on delivering MVPs.
• Native-level Dutch, with a good command of English. French is considered a strong asset.
• Autonomous, proactive, and a collaborative team player with a "can-do" mentality.
