About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to join our internal startup at Syna GmbH. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative digital services that simplify and optimize the daily operations of our customers and colleagues. Your expertise will be pivotal in creating scalable, cloud-native solutions utilizing modern technologies such as Kotlin with Spring Boot or TypeScript with ReactJS. You will work within a collaborative, agile environment, engaging in pair programming, architecture discussions, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Your hands-on approach will help implement intelligent AI workflows that accelerate and refine customer support processes, contributing directly to the advancement of the energy transition. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work with onsite collaboration in Frankfurt am Main, allowing you to influence technical visions and energize cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of professional software development experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of modern architectural patterns such as CQRS, Event-Sourcing, and Domain-Driven Design. You should have practical experience leading and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and growth. Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments, is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations are key. You should be passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and committed to software craftsmanship. A proactive, hands-on mentality combined with a genuine enthusiasm for innovation and the energy transition will set you apart.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing cloud-native microservices and distributed architectures, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You will participate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making processes. Developing and deploying AI-driven workflows to improve customer support and operational efficiency will be a core focus. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of code quality, continuous integration, and stable deployments within Kubernetes environments on platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
