Permanent | Hybrid (2-3 days per week) | Dublin

€90,000 - €100,000 DOE

We are looking for a highly capable and proactive Technical Project Manager to join a growing team delivering one of the largest, most complex public technology projects in Ireland. This is a long-term, multi-phase programme that will fundamentally transform public services nationwide.

The project is in its early stages, with a significant opportunity to help shape and influence its delivery. You will manage your own workstream(s) through key delivery phases, with direct client interaction and visibility.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments, particularly where teams are geographically dispersed.

You are also required to have a deep background in project planning and experience with tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.

The Role:

• Take ownership of specific project phases and assigned workstreams
• Plan, track, and manage all project activities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Collaborate with external and internal teams to design, shape, and refine project scope as delivery progresses
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, driving solutions independently
• Maintain clear documentation on project scope, progress, risks, and budgets
• Work closely with other project managers, technical teams, and business leaders to maintain project momentum

Requirements:

• Strong project management experience in large, complex, technical environments
• Proven ability to work independently, particularly within multi-national, multi-location teams
• Solid experience in project planning and project planning tools (Microsoft Project experience essential)
• Comfortable operating in a project where design, scope, and requirements evolve as work progresses
• Previous experience on the public sector or government technology projects is highly desirable
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
• JIRA and Microsoft Office suite proficiency

Salary~: €90,000 - €100,000
