ARESYS is an Italian SME providing innovative satellite-based sensingsolutions to the Space and Defense markets.

ARESYS offers a 20+ years of expertise in designing and developing on-board and on-ground systems with a vertical specialization in microwawe (Radar, SAR) and Optical technologies.

We are looking for a Python Software Developer.

The candidate will become a specialist of data processing (acquired both from satellites, drones and ground scanning sensors), working on real-life data, proposing innovative efficient and smart processing algorithms to be developed in Python.

The candidate will design, develop and maintain efficient data processing solutions, leveraging state-of-the-art development strategies and High Performances Computing techniques.

You will collaborate with top-tier Software Engineers, Computer Scientists and Radar Specialists, contributing to projects at the forefront of innovation in RADAR and Earth Observation technologies.)

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Design and code high-performances scientific libraries and applications for RADAR data processing
• Review, validate and optimize developed code
• Design and support solutions that strengthen the reliability of development and testing operations
• Drive bug resolution through systematic data analysis
• Develop and integrate innovative algorithms and processing techniques together with the R&D team
  
  

Required Skills

• Professional experience in Python software development
• Knowledge of software development lifecycleExcellent written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  
  

As a Plus

• Proven skills in Signal/Image data processing
• Knowledge of technical understanding of RADAR and SAR Systems
• Electronical/Telecommunication background
  
  

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, math, or a STEM discipline or 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
