End User Engineer - Leading Systematic Hedge Fund - New York

My client, a highly regarded quantitative hedge fund, is seeking an End User Services Engineer to join their IT team in New York.

Embedded within a fast-paced and technically sophisticated environment, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless, secure and high-performance technology operations across the business. Working closely with traders, researchers and senior stakeholders, you will provide high-touch support while contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes that underpin the firm’s investment activities.

This is a hands-on position with responsibility across the full end-user technology stack. You will deliver support across Windows, macOS and mobile platforms, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and manage user onboarding, permissions and access. You will also support conferencing and AV technologies, virtual desktop environments and endpoint management solutions, while proactively identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience (3-10 years) within IT support, preferably in a financial services or similarly demanding environment. You should possess strong technical troubleshooting skills across desktop environments, Microsoft 365 and basic networking concepts, alongside experience with identity and access management and endpoint tools.
