Middle Go Software Engineer (+Node.js)

It is a dynamic project in which our cloud services are deployed in the cloud, using technologies almost identical to AWS (mainly Docker and Kubernetes). All our activities aim to support our Max ecosystem, a series of products and services serving the broadcast weather market.

IF YOU ARE

  • Proficient in Golang frameworks and design patterns for REST, database access
  • Hands-on with developing containerized services in Golang for enterprise software systems
  • Effective in server-side development in Node.js
  • Familiar with SQL, and NoSQL
  • Experienced with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes
  • Skilled in version control using Github
  • A practitioner of AWS services like EKS, ECR, ALB, VPC, Cloudwatch
  • Accustomed to Agile methodology, specifically Scrum
  • A fluent communicator with upper-intermediate spoken English
  • Knowledgeable about messaging systems like Kafka (as a win)
  • Aware of React front-end development (as a plus)
  • Familiar with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar (as a bonus)


AND YOU WANT TO

  • Design, test, build, and deploy performant and secure containerized services in Golang for enterprise software systems
  • Develop secure software by leveraging output from security scanners to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Build a trusted relationship with the client
  • Create and extend existing scene objects for rendering logic to visualize your code in action
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure organic product evolution
  • Attend and contribute to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives
