Senior Business Analyst

Currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to work across a large-scale enterprise renewal and transformation program. This role suits a high‑calibre BA who operates beyond traditional requirements gathering and is confident leading problem definition, shaping solutions, and influencing delivery outcomes across complex business and technology initiatives.

You will work across a portfolio of strategic projects spanning enterprise system upgrades, integrations, and new capability delivery.

Operating within a structured, waterfall‑led delivery environment, you will partner closely with project managers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope and strong alignment between business intent and technical execution.

Your new role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Lead the definition and scoping of complex business problems, challenging assumptions and identifying risks and dependencies early
• Elicit, analyse and document high‑quality functional and non‑functional requirements, ensuring they are clear, testable and outcome‑focused
• Work closely with architects and technical teams on integration design, data flows and system interactions
• Model current‑state and future‑state processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and simplification
• Support end‑to‑end delivery across design, build, testing and implementation, maintaining full requirements traceability
• Partner with testing teams to define acceptance criteria and support UAT
• Facilitate workshops, resolve ambiguity and align competing stakeholder priorities
• Prepare executive‑level artefacts including business cases, briefing papers and decision packs
• Contribute to market engagement and procurement activities, including RFI/RFP development and vendor evaluations

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years’ experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst within complex environments
• Proven experience delivering enterprise transformation, system implementations and osseointegration projects
• Strong capability across both business and technical domains, effectively bridging strategy and delivery
• Advanced skills in requirements elicitation, process modelling and acceptance criteria definition
• Solid understanding of system integrations, architecture concepts and end‑to‑end system interactions
• End‑to‑end project lifecycle experience from initiation through to implementation
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to produce executive‑ready documentation
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and modelling tools such as Visio (or equivalent)

Desirable:

• Experience in large, complex organisations
• Familiarity with waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Exposure to procurement processes (EOIs/RFPs)
• Understanding of change management and business readiness
• IIBA (BABOK) certification or equivalent
