The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users interact with through web browsers. As a part of the development team, you will work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to create seamless, responsive, and interactive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Development: Develop and maintain user-facing features for web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
- UI/UX Implementation: Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring the highest quality of design integrity and performance.
- Responsive Design: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring responsive designs across various devices and screen sizes.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure consistent behavior of web applications across all major browsers.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and bugs and implement solutions to improve performance and maintainability.
- Version Control: Use Git for version control and collaborate with the team through Git repositories.
- Collaboration: Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and data into frontend functionality. Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Frameworks/Libraries: Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
- Version Control: Experience using Git for version control.
- Responsive Design: Solid understanding of responsive design principles, CSS frameworks (like Bootstrap), and media queries.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Familiarity with ensuring cross-browser functionality and debugging issues.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with tools like Webpack, Babel, CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS), and front-end testing libraries (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- UX/UI Design: Experience working closely with design systems or creating custom UI components.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile software development processes and tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress) and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
