About The Role

This is not a policy-only or audit role. You will actively implement security controls, work closely with teams, and ensure security is embedded in how we build and operate - without slowing the business down.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with practical execution, making security a natural part of our workflows.

What You’ll Work On

• Strengthen security across our cloud environment (primarily Azure)
• Implement and manage security tooling such as Microsoft Defender
• Improve identity & access management using tools like Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Secure endpoints, identities, and data across the Microsoft ecosystem
• Secure our e-commerce platform and integrations (payments, customer data, APIs)
• Build monitoring and alerting for threats, anomalies, and incidents
• Define and implement secure development practices with engineering teams
• Train and coach teams to work securely without friction
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Own and continuously improve the company’s security posture end-to-end
• Implement security controls across infrastructure, applications, and workflows
• Identify risks and translate them into practical, prioritized actions
• Work closely with engineering, data, and business teams to embed security into daily operations
• Set up monitoring, detection, and incident response processes
• Run security reviews, audits, and follow-ups — with a focus on real improvements
• Coach teams on secure practices and raise security awareness across the company
• Balance speed and security — enabling the business, not blocking it
  
  

Who are you?

We're looking for

• Experience working hands-on with cyber security in a modern tech environment
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and application security
• Ability to implement solutions — not just define policies
• Experience working with engineering teams and integrating security into development workflows
• Strong risk assessment and prioritization skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment
  
  

It's a plus if you have

• Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or high-growth environments
• Experience working in a Microsoft-based environment (Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender)
• Familiarity with endpoint security, identity protection, and cloud security in Azure
• Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g. Defender, SIEM)
