Job Description
About Semarchy
Semarchy is the modern data management company. The Semarchy Data Platform (SDP) — our AI-driven MDM and governance platform built for DataOps — ensures the rapid delivery of trusted, governed data products at scale, so businesses can easily find, understand, and consume the data they need. With a proven record of customer success, Semarchy helps customers meet the growth in demand for accurate, trusted data and drive the success of data-focused initiatives like AI, Customer 360, and more.
Founded in 2011, Semarchy has an international presence spanning the United States, the United Kingdom, France, India and Mauritius.
Our platform serves technical and business users working with complex data models, workflows, and governance constraints—clarity and usability are non-negotiable.
About The Role
Semarchy is seeking a Product UI Designer, not a marketing or brand design role. You should have a passion for crafting professional, elegant, and intuitive interfaces that enable data users to work smarter and faster.
Reporting to the Product Success and UX team, this role will help shape the visual and interaction design of our data management platform. You’ll have significant autonomy over UI decisions, with responsibility to justify and validate them through collaboration and feedback.
You’ll spend most of your time designing complex application interfaces, workflows, and reusable components for data modeling, stewardship, and governance. The work involves dense, information-rich screens where hierarchy, structure, and clarity matter more than visual flair. Your users range from business users to highly technical data professionals.
To do this you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and customer experience teams to translate complex data processes into clear, modern, and user-friendly interfaces. We value pragmatic design decisions, strong opinions backed by reasoning, and close collaboration with engineering.
The impact of this role will be the creation of Semarchy’s next-generation UI initiatives that evolve our Material Design-based system—ensuring design consistency, accessibility, and scalability across all product surfaces. Your work will directly influence how customers trust, govern, and operationalize their data at scale.
