Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field,
• Working knowledge of defensive cyber security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and Firewalls,
• Understanding of fundamental network/transport and application protocols,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,
• Analytical thinking, quick decision-making, and problem-solving abilities,
• Team-oriented, detail-focused, and responsible,
• Prior work experience of 1 year or more in a SOC environment.

Job Description:

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from various sources (SIEM, EDR, firewall, IDS/IPS, etc.),
• Perform initial triage and classification of security incidents,
• Identify potential security threats and escalate incidents as needed,
• Conduct log analysis and correlation of events to detect suspicious activity,
• Support incident response efforts by collecting relevant data, managing triage and providing technical context,
• Collaborate with other SOC analysts and IT/security teams to ensure accurate and timely responses,
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices,
• Work as part of SOC in a shift based (7*24) schedule.
