Job Summary

You will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of the product within WFM (Workforce Management) domain, coordinating work across product, integration, engineering, and vendor teams. You will partner with the Product Owner and Product Manager (and potentially Product, Delivery and Engineering associates) to ensure the product backlog is continuously refined and work is prioritized and scheduled. Understanding and supporting the Client Solution Delivery Process (SDP) while adhering to Compliance guidelines is key.

Key Responsibilities

The following are examples of typical Scrum Master activities:

  • Support team impediment removal and dependency tracking
  • Facilitate Agile team ceremonies e.g., daily standups, reviews, retrospectives
  • Ensure team agreements are in place
  • Drive team iteration commitments and plan to maximize business value delivery
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters across the ART as needed e.g., Scrum of Scrums
  • Coordinate with other teams as needed, for example Shared Services or DevOps team
  • Key Partner with the Product Owner to ensure product backlog items are refined, prioritized and scheduled
  • Support estimating activities within the team
  • Support Release Planning
  • Responsible for facilitating capacity planning
  • Review metrics to measure team progress and responsible for achieving baseline KPI
  • Validate time tracking
  • Track team objectives using appropriate Agile tools/applications
  • Protect team from external interference
  • Support ART Readiness/Preparations
  • Lead and coordinate end to end implementation, including rollout planning, integration readiness, and delivery sequencing
  • Maintain visibility of key risks, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints across globally distributed teams. Drive mitigation plans and timely escalation where risks threaten delivery outcomes
  • Provide clear, concise status updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions required. Translate delivery data into actionable insights to support leadership prioritization and intervention
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Required Experience
  • 5-10 years serving as a Scrum Master, guiding teams through Agile transformation and execution
  • Over 5 years of experience working in Agile SAFe environments, with a strong focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience in vendor and partner management within complex delivery program
  • Proven track record supporting a team, fostering collaboration and high performance
  • Experienced in estimation and budgeting, supporting planning and forecasting across initiatives
Required Skills
  • Advanced Scrum certification (PSM II or CSP), demonstrating deep understanding of Agile principles and practices
  • Strong risk management, dependency tracking, and problem solving capabilities
  • Clear, confident communicator able to engage technical teams and senior leadership
  • Expertise in Waterfall/Agile and hybrid delivery models, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Proficient in story structuring and sizing, defining "Definition of Done," facilitating Agile ceremonies, and driving effective sprint execution
  • Outstanding facilitation and conflict resolution skills, enabling productive team dynamics and stakeholder engagement
  • Empathetic leadership style, supporting and motivating teams through challenges and change
Preferred Skills
  • UKG WFM experience
  • Understanding of retail operations, in-store technologies, and omnichannel commerce
  • SAFe Agile Certifications
  • Exposure to Logile or similar labor planning / scheduling products
  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams (e.g., Europe, India, NA)
