Full Stack Developer

From background checks and licences to training, compliance and onboarding, we help HR teams and recruitment businesses reduce friction and get people job-ready without the usual circus.

We’re now looking for a Mid-Senior Full Stack Developer to join the team and play a key role in shaping what comes next.

This is not a “keep the lights on and don’t ask questions” developer role.

You’ll work across our established SaaS platform, with a strong focus on WorkPro Ready, while also helping shape the future state of our broader product ecosystem. We’re beginning to scope a significant modernisation of our platforms using newer technologies, so this is a genuine opportunity to get involved in both hands-on delivery and future architecture thinking.

You’ll work closely with our Engineering Lead and key stakeholders across the business to build, improve, troubleshoot and modernise. We want someone who can code properly, think commercially, work securely and take real ownership.

·      Designing, building and maintaining backend services using C# and .NET / .NET Core

·      Developing and supporting front-end experiences using AngularJS, TypeScript and related technologies

·      Working with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including optimisation and troubleshooting

·      Managing and supporting Azure infrastructure, including App Services, VMs, Azure Functions, Web Jobs and Blob Storage

·      Investigating and resolving production issues with reliability and security front of mind

·      Responding to internal support requests and contributing to continuous improvement

·      Collaborating with business stakeholders to scope new features, projects and improvements

·      Contributing to secure development practices and system architecture decisions

·      Playing a meaningful role in planning and shaping the modernisation and rewrite of our technology stack

You’ll likely bring:

·      4+ years’ experience in full-stack development using C# .NET / .NET Core

·      Strong experience building REST APIs

·      Solid front-end capability across JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, Blazor, HTML and CSS

·      Strong database capability, including T-SQL and Azure SQL

·      Hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Virtual Machines and Azure SQL

·      A strong grasp of secure coding practices and reliability in production environments

·      The confidence to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

·      A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field

·      The ability to work remotely, autonomously and without needing your hand held every 14 minutes

It would also be great if you bring experience with unit testing, test-driven development, or an interest in AI/ML and Azure Cognitive Services, but they are not deal-breakers.
