Drive Innovation for Global Brands

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Brand Project Manager to be the central force behind executing the ANZ innovation and renovation pipeline. This critical role, based in Mt. Waverley, acts as the bridge between our global brand strategies and local market execution, ensuring the flawless delivery of product innovation and renovation projects for our leading brands.

You will be the single point of contact for the ANZ 3-year operating plan, responsible for bringing our brand growth strategies to life.

Your Mission

  • Lead End-to-End Project Delivery: Take full ownership of the innovation and renovation pipeline for Australia & New Zealand. You will manage projects from concept to launch, leading diverse cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Marketing, Finance), navigating the stage-gate process, and ensuring all key milestones are met on time.
  • Champion Factory Integration: Act as the strategic brand owner for our Rooty Hill manufacturing facility. You will oversee the total program of projects, including new products and margin expansion initiatives, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth and efficient factory operations.
  • Foster Seamless Collaboration: Build and maintain robust relationships with both our Europe-based Brand Development teams and the local ANZ Marketing team. Your proactive communication and clear reporting will ensure alignment, clarity, and engagement across all stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

  • Strategic Execution: An exceptional ability to translate high-level strategic objectives into detailed, actionable project plans and a proven track record of executing them flawlessly.
  • Project Management Excellence: With 3-4+ years of brand management experience, ideally in FMCG, you are a master of end-to-end NPD project management. You are a natural leader of cross-functional teams, skilled in managing timelines, foreseeing risks, and keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Initiative and Autonomy: You are a solution-oriented self-starter who thrives on autonomy. You are comfortable making decisions, challenging the status quo with supporting facts, and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • A Collaborative Mindset: You build relationships easily and communicate with candor and clarity across all levels and geographies, demonstrating accountability and a focus on delivering results.

The Essentials

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of brand management experience; 4+ years including management of NPD projects in an FMCG environment is highly desirable.
  • This role requires a flexible working pattern to collaborate with international teams, including availability for evening meetings up to three times per week.
  • The position is based in Mt. Waverley and requires approximately 10% travel. We also offer flexible working between office and home.
