What you'll do

Owns the EU infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability of Bitget EU's regulated crypto-asset platform. Ensures all EU systems are hosted, deployed, and maintained independently and in compliance with MiCAR, DORA, and applicable EU regulations. Acts as the bridge between Bitget Global's engineering teams and Bitget EU's regulatory and operational requirements on the infrastructure level.

• Own and manage Bitget EU's cloud infrastructure, ensuring full separation from Bitget Global's environments
• Ensure EU data residency and GDPR compliance — all EU client data hosted and processed within the EEA
• Build, maintain, and enforce the CI/CD pipeline as the deployment gatekeeper for the EU production environment
• Ensure strict segregation of development, testing, staging, and production environments in line with DORA requirements
• Manage EU-specific release and deployment cycles — no deployment to EU production without EU review and approval
• Ensure 24/7 system availability, monitoring, and alerting for all EU production systems
• Own incident response on the infrastructure level — detection, escalation, resolution, and post-incident review
• Manage infrastructure security including access controls, encryption, network segmentation, and vulnerability management
• Coordinate with Bitget Global DevOps teams while maintaining EU operational independence
• Ensure all infrastructure changes are documented, auditable, and compliant with ICT change management policies
• Support regulatory audits and FMA inspections with infrastructure evidence and documentation

What you'll need

• 5+ years DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, ideally in regulated financial services, fintech, or crypto
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) including infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and monitoring
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and enforcement
• Understanding of DORA and EU data residency / GDPR requirements
• Experience with environment segregation and secure deployment practices
• Experience managing infrastructure within a global group structure with local regulatory requirements
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security, access management, and network architecture
• Experience with incident management and on-call operations
• Fluent English; Chinese or German is a plus
