About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Full-Stack Engineer specializing in AI Data & Infrastructure to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexibility, requiring a commitment of 20-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance systems that support AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, research teams, and engineers to build scalable, secure, and reliable tooling and backend services that facilitate large-scale data annotation, validation, and quality control processes. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our AI models, ensuring that our systems can handle complex data and operational challenges effectively.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Native or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
• Proven full-stack developer with a strong background in systems programming
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing production-grade C# applications
• Extensive experience with data modeling and database access, utilizing ORM frameworks or micro-ORMs for high-performance SQL interactions
• Proficiency in building secure, well-documented endpoints for data access and manipulation
• Ability to dedicate 20-40 hours weekly to project commitments

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, including model training and benchmarking pipelines
• Experience working with distributed systems or developer tooling
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance systems in C# that support AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
• Develop comprehensive full-stack tooling and backend services to facilitate large-scale data annotation, validation, and quality control processes
• Enhance the reliability, performance, and safety of existing C# codebases through continuous improvement and refactoring
• Collaborate effectively with data scientists, research teams, and engineering colleagues to support model training, evaluation, and deployment workflows
• Identify system bottlenecks and edge cases in data and behavior, implementing scalable solutions to address these challenges
• Participate in review sessions to iterate on system design, architecture, and implementation decisions, ensuring best practices are followed
