Position: Sr. Infrastructure Security Engineer

Type: Full Time

Compensation: $250K - $350K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Architect and secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Build automated guardrails and self-healing systems to reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Design and implement Zero Trust architectures including identity and policy as code.
  • Develop and maintain Detection-as-Code pipelines with scalable deployment practices.
  • Apply AI-driven approaches to threat modeling, anomaly detection, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows.
  • Continuously evolve security posture through research, testing, and system improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience securing distributed, multi-cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD security integration.
  • Strong understanding of identity systems, least privilege, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Familiarity with modern detection systems and monitoring tools.
  • Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on automation and scalable security solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and writing-driven environment.
