About the Role
We're looking for a QA Tester to join our team and help ensure quality across PC-to-console ports. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with console certification processes and cross-platform testing while working on a wide range of titles.
You'll work closely with our QA and engineering teams to identify issues, document bugs, and verify that games perform consistently across PC, PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox platforms. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the chance to develop specialized skills in console QA.
What You'll Do
- Test gameplay, UI, and technical performance across PC and console platforms
- Create clear, detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and supporting evidence
- Verify fixes and conduct regression testing following updates and patches
- Collaborate with engineers to understand system architecture and test accordingly
- Participate in console certification testing and learn platform-specific requirements
- Maintain organized test documentation and track issues through resolution
- Communicate daily with the team about testing progress, blockers, and priorities

Required:

- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-directed approach to collaboration
- Passion for video games and understanding of player experience
Nice to Have:
- Technical aptitude to understand system mechanics and translate engineering explanations into test scenarios
- Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
- Experience with console platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo)
- Prior exposure to console certification processes
