Position Overview


The Regional Director, APAC is a senior executive leadership role with full accountability for driving Stoli Group’s commercial performance, market expansion, and brand growth across the Asia-Pacific region.


The role is responsible for defining and executing regional strategy, building high-performing teams, strengthening distributor and partner ecosystems, and ensuring disciplined governance in a complex, highly regulated, multi-market environment. Acting as the Group’s most senior commercial representative in APAC, the Regional Director balances aggressive growth ambitions with operational excellence, risk management, and long-term value creation.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy, Vision & Growth Leadership

  • Develop, communicate, and execute the regional vision and strategy aligned with Stoli Group’s global objectives.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of multi-year strategic plans, annual operating plans, and growth initiatives across APAC markets.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization and efficiency opportunities while protecting brand equity and commercial momentum.
  • Drive strategic change initiatives required to support growth, scalability, and adaptability in diverse markets.


Market Expansion & Commercial Development

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities across both established and emerging APAC markets.
  • Lead the selection, appointment, and performance management of distributor partners in existing and new territories.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and commercial partners.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry influencers, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and market presence.


Operational Excellence & Performance Management

  • Streamline and optimize regional business operations to maximize efficiency, speed, and execution quality.
  • Establish, monitor, and act upon key performance indicators (KPIs) to track commercial, operational, and financial performance.
  • Ensure disciplined forecasting, performance reviews, and corrective action planning across all APAC markets.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure highly profitable outcomes, strong cash discipline, and sustainable growth.


Leadership, Talent & Culture

  • Develop, and retain high-calibre talent, including brand ambassador teams.
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and high performance across the region.
  • Act as a role model for leadership behaviors aligned with Stoli Group’s values and standards.
  • Inspire and motivate teams across geographies, cultures, and levels of seniority.


Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to corporate governance principles, internal policies, and industry regulations across all markets.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to identify, mitigate, and manage commercial and regulatory risks.
  • Maintain oversight of distributor compliance, contractual obligations, and market conduct.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insight

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align regional initiatives with global priorities.
  • Ensure marketing and brand activation strategies are commercially effective and locally relevant.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and marketing innovations to maintain competitive advantage and drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Experience


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification strongly preferred.


Experience


  • Minimum 10+ years’ senior leadership experience within the beverage alcohol industry, with proven regional or multi-market responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing profitable commercial strategies across complex, regulated markets.
  • Strong track record of building long-standing, strategic distributor and customer partnerships.
  • Experience in start-up, scale-up, or entrepreneurial environments is a distinct advantage.
  • Prior experience working within the Asia-Pacific region is strongly preferred.
