About VEL

Civilization is shifting.

AI is no longer confined to the browser. Work is decentralizing. Cities are restructuring. Corporate real estate is contracting.

VEL is building Physical AI infrastructure — intelligent, distributed environments embedded into airports, commercial buildings, and urban nodes.

VEGA is what people experience. IRIS is the intelligence layer that governs it.

We are not building chat interfaces.

We are building embodied AI systems operating in real-world environments.

This is a cross-functional force multiplier role embedded in high-velocity decision environments.

You will:

● Translate CEO strategy into executable workstreams

● Drive OKR cadence and operational rhythm

● Prepare board materials and investor updates

● Support capital raise execution and investor coordination

● Maintain discipline across execution systems (Monday.com, Miro, etc.)

● Identify risk early and enforce accountability

● Coordinate cross-border stakeholders

This role requires executive maturity, commercial literacy, and comfort operating in ambiguity.

You must have:

● Minimum 3 years serving as Chief of Staff reporting directly to a CEO

● Experience in a venture-backed or high-growth environment

● Direct exposure to capital raise cycles

● Ownership of board-level documentation and reporting

● Financial literacy (runway, unit economics, forecasting inputs)

● A venture-backed startup in growth stage

● An infrastructure, hardware, or deep-tech environment

● A company operating across multiple countries

You understand that:

● Execution discipline determines survival

● Capital alignment drives strategy

● Ambiguity is normal at scale-building companies

● Board-level communication must be precise

● Travel is part of building global infrastructure

You prefer ownership over supervision.

You are comfortable operating without detailed instructions.
