Job Purpose:

The Senior HR Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing key human resource functions including recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, employee relations, and performance management support. The role ensures efficient HR service delivery, compliance with company policies and Oman Labour Law, and contributes to maintaining a positive and well-structured working environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
  • Prepare job advertisements and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Prepare employment offers and support negotiation within approved compensation ranges.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and provide recruitment status updates.

Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
  • Prepare employment documentation including offer letters, contracts, and joining documentation.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce company policies, culture, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with IT, Administration, and relevant departments for employee setup and access.
  • Ensure completion of all onboarding documentation and regulatory requirements.

HR Operations:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare HR letters including confirmations, salary certificates, and other official correspondence.
  • Administer employee leave, attendance records, and HRIS updates.


Performance Management:

  • Coordinate the annual and mid-year performance appraisal processes.
  • Track submission of KPIs and performance evaluation forms.
  • Support performance review meetings by preparing evaluation summaries and documentation.
  • Maintain performance management records and ensure proper documentation.


HR Policies & Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support handling of employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary cases.
  • Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with company policies and Oman Labour Law.


HR Reporting

  • Prepare HR reports including headcount, turnover, and leave statistics.
  • Support HR audits and compliance reporting when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of HR data.


Qualifications and Experince:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related. Professional Certificates like CIPD, SHRM will be advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in core HR.

  • Knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition practices and Tools.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations and administration
  • Strong Knowledge In Oman Labour Law and HR regulatory requirements.
  • Strong data management and HR reporting capabilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
