Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior System Support Engineer. The role involves providing advanced technical support, performing system administration tasks, and troubleshooting complex IT issues. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving issues with operating systems, ensuring network security, and maintaining IT systems to ensure operational continuity. The position also requires collaboration with team members and end-users to deliver high-quality IT services.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to address and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in System Administration, including server management and configuration of hardware and software systems.
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems, with the ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot various platforms.
- Experience in Network Security to ensure systems are protected from unauthorized access and security threats.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
