Development Engineer

The Development Engineer Interiors & Structures manages and carries out the Development Engineering function relating to aircraft structures, aircraft interiors, and inventory, so that Presidential Flight equipment is maintained and modified to the highest standards, while being responsible and accountable for a safe and cost-effective operation in adherence to PF and Aviation regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements Education:

Essential: B.Sc. Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.

Certificates: Autocad training to produce Modification drawings/Floorplans etc.

Experience & Knowledge:

Essential:

•10 years experience as a Development Engineer

• 3 years experience on two Presidential Flight aircraft types

• Good communication skills

• Ability to systemize cases

Desirable:

•Previous Experience in Tech Services/Development function with airline/operator/maintenance provider

• Experience in overseeing major projects within airline / flight department

• Senior supervisory position within a maintenance organization

• Project Management experience

• Engineering design experience with particular emphasis on aircraft interiors

• Experience with VIP aircraft.
