Scrum Master

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and servant-leader-oriented Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and support high-performing development teams. In this role, you will guide teams in adopting Scrum principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
• Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices
• Identify and remove impediments that may hinder team progress
• Promote collaboration and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
• Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts)
• Support Product Owners in backlog grooming and prioritization
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and organizational standards
• Assist in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams if applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM)
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with cross-functional or distributed teams
• Knowledge of scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
