Civil Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, with 8 years of relevant experience in Design Engineering of Oil & Gas projects with experience in Qatar minimum 4 years
• Must be registered with MMUP grade (C)
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards (in line with Qatar Energy).
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing), Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to plan, design, and execute engineering projects based on technical specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Prepare & review reports, technical documentation, cost & manpower estimates, and risk assessments (TBE, Vendor packages, etc.)
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide engineering solutions to problems encountered during construction or operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Participate in progress meetings, quality checks, and audits.
• Apply continuous improvement and innovation principles to project work.
• To actively train and encourage the development of staff to fulfil process and systems engineering roles.
• Actively participate in discipline specific Design reviews, Model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, Engineering Best practices etc. as applicable.
• Judicious allocation of workload to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
