Location: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania

Work model: Hybrid, with 3 days onsite per week

We are looking for a senior Agile Product Owner consultant to join a highly important group-level banking data initiative for our enterprise banking client.

This role sits within the Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse stream focused on cards data products and is a strong match for a mature consultant who knows how to combine product ownership, delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and service ownership in a complex enterprise environment.

You will play a key role in shaping what should be built, driving the backlog, aligning delivery with architecture and strategy, and helping a cross-functional team deliver secure, reliable, high-value data services.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

You will join a strategic banking data stream focused on cards data products at enterprise group level.

The assignment requires a senior consultant who can take ownership of the product direction and backlog, maximize the value of investment initiatives, and ensure that delivery happens in line with business goals, architecture principles, and regulatory expectations.

In this role, you will work closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, management, and program streams to make sure the right things are built, priorities are clear, dependencies are handled, and agreed minimum viable products are delivered.

You will also carry IT Service Owner responsibility for team-owned services, helping ensure service compliance across the lifecycle.

DO YOU HAVE (MUST-HAVE SKILLS)...

• 7-10+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner, Product Owner, or similar senior product/delivery ownership consultant in enterprise IT environments
• 7-10+ years of deep experience working in complex cross-functional delivery setups, with clear ownership of backlog, prioritization, and value-driven delivery
• Strong experience communicating product vision and translating it into clear, actionable backlog items
• Strong experience prioritizing and managing backlog in a structured and business-value-driven way
• Strong experience ensuring delivery of agreed investment initiatives, minimum viable products, or roadmap commitments
• Strong experience managing stakeholder expectations in complex enterprise environments
• Strong experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams, delivery engines, or program streams
• Strong experience identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, and blockers to management when needed
• Strong experience leading agile team ceremonies such as standups, iteration reviews, and backlog refinement sessions
• Solid experience ensuring delivery of secure, reliable IT services throughout the service lifecycle in line with internal and external regulations and standards
• Solid experience aligning delivery with IT strategy, target architecture, and business domain architecture
• Ability to act as a senior consultant: solve abstract problems, lead others, provide structure, and serve as a mentor when needed

BONUS SKILLS...

• Experience from Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments
• Experience working with cards data products
• Practical hands-on experience within Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse delivery in banking or similarly complex enterprise environments
• Experience carrying IT Service Owner responsibility for team-owned services
• Previous consulting experience in large-scale regulated enterprise organizations
