Location: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.

Work model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week

We are looking for a senior consulting-level Epic Owner to join a high-visibility initiative at our enterprise banking client. This role sits in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse stream focused on cards data products and is ideal for a mature consultant who combines strong governance, delivery coordination, and stakeholder leadership with a practical understanding of data-driven environments.

This is a role for someone who can bring structure to complex change, move important initiatives through the right governance path, and confidently align business and delivery stakeholders around value, progress, and execution.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

You will take ownership of epics within the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse cards data products stream, guiding them from early idea through approval and implementation within the client's Kanban-based setup.

As the Epic Owner, you will help shape the epic, coordinate it through the required governance flow, and support successful delivery across portfolios, Value Delivery Engines, and teams. You will be expected to keep momentum, remove blockers, maintain clarity for stakeholders, and ensure the epic is defined and driven in a viable, feasible, and desirable way.

This is a senior-level consulting assignment with strong visibility, where you will act as a key driver of coordination, alignment, governance, and progress reporting across a complex enterprise banking environment.

DO YOU HAVE (MUST-HAVE SKILLS)...

• 7-10 years of experience working as a consultant within Epic ownership, strategic delivery ownership, business change leadership, or a closely related area in complex enterprise environments
• Very deep competence in leading complex initiatives from idea through governance and into implementation
• Strong experience guiding work through Kanban-based delivery or governance flows
• Proven experience owning and driving governance documentation for large cross-functional initiatives
• Strong knowledge of working in line with regulatory frameworks and structured agile development processes
• Hands-on experience defining, validating, and articulating clear value statements from viable, feasible, and desirable perspectives
• Experience aligning and synchronizing multiple stakeholders across portfolios, delivery organizations, or similarly complex structures
• Solid track record of supporting prioritization with clear, relevant decision-making information
• Strong experience coordinating dependencies, handling impediments, and escalating risks or blockers when needed
• Ability to act as a strong representative and internal advocate for an epic
• Experience tracking, understanding, and clearly reporting epic progress to relevant stakeholders
• Strong senior stakeholder communication skills and the confidence to lead discussions, challenge constructively, and create clarity
• Ability to solve abstract problems, lead others, and act as a mentor in the competence area

• Experience from Business Intelligence environments
• Experience from Data Warehouse initiatives
• Experience related to cards data products
• Practical hands-on experience within Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse delivery contexts
• Previous consulting experience in banking or other strongly regulated enterprise environments
• Experience operating on portfolio level, Value Delivery Engine level, or both
