.NET Developer

We are looking for…

An experienced and forward-thinking Senior Software Developer to join our client's software engineering department in Utrecht. You will be part of a team, focusing on developing and maintaining critical software that regulates customer portals, insurance processes, and payment flows. If you are passionate about high-quality code and thriving in a Microsoft-centric, Azure-cloud environment, this is the role for you.

You will:

• Design and develop robust solutions primarily using C# within a Microsoft environment.

• Work in an Agile/Scrum setting, contributing to team goals and sprint cycles.

• Participate in key change initiatives to extend functionalities and redesign architecture.

• Contribute to the transformation of the software landscape towards a more cloud-native (Azure) and DevOps-oriented approach.

• Ensure that software is written with a focus on maintainability and long-term stability.

Who are you?

Experience

• At least 8 years of professional experience as a developer, specifically within enterprise-level environments.

• In-depth expertise in .NET and C#.

• Proven experience with Azure Cloud solutions (Azure Certification is a significant advantage).

• Knowledge or experience within the financial or banking sector.

• Experience with software architecture, specifically Clean Architecture and Event-Driven solutions.

• Strong background in CI/CD and writing maintainable, scalable code.
