Embedded Software Engineer

Barrington James’s specialist Software & Electronics Division is currently searching for a Software Engineer on a full-time permanent basis in Gelderland, Netherlands. They are looking to move quickly.

(This opportunity is 5 days a week on site with flexibility in the near future)

To be considered for this Software Engineer position:

Essential: C, C++, Dutch speaking, on site presence

Desirable: Medical device experience or similar regulated industry experience

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for advanced control systems using C/C++
• Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient solutions from architecture through to implementation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, electronics, and mechanical engineering
• Contribute to new features, diagnostics, and connectivity within next-generation systems
• Bring 3+ years of embedded development experience, ideally with real-time or motor control, and a relevant degree
