Senior Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location & Working Requirements:

Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid if local, or remote if you live more than 90 minutes from the office). Candidates must be based in Lithuania and hold Lithuanian citizenship.

Salary:

€65,000 – €75,000 + benefits

We're working with a global technology company that builds complex, data-driven software products, and they're looking to grow their frontend engineering team in Vilnius.

This is an opportunity to work on highly technical applications where performance, scalability, and user experience all play a key role.

We're looking for developers who:

• Have a strong understanding of core programming fundamentals.
• Can think clearly and solve problems in a structured way.
• Are able to explain technical concepts simply and clearly.

Tech Environment

• TypeScript / JavaScript
• Modern frontend frameworks (SolidJS is currently used)
• Complex, data-heavy web applications
• Scalable, performance-focused systems

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and improving complex frontend applications.
• Working closely with engineers to design scalable solutions.
• Handling large datasets and performance challenges.
• Contributing to clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Taking part in technical discussions and problem-solving.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building modern web applications (SPAs).
• Good understanding of core programming concepts.
• Ability to break down problems and explain solutions clearly.
• A calm and structured approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have (but not essential)

• Experience with any modern frontend framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.).
• Understanding of performance optimisation techniques.
• Experience working on data-heavy or complex systems.
